4 HOLIDAY ACTIVITIES YOUR FAMILY WILL FA-LA-LA-LA-LOVE

December 12, 2019

Take a break from the hustle and bustle of the holidays and spend more time scooping up sweet memories with family and friends. With the month of December flying by faster than snowflakes in a winter storm, we’re sharing four holiday activities the entire family will fa-la-la-la-LOVE!

1. DECORATE A SANTA PLATE

Little hands, BIG imaginations! Have some family fun by decorating a special plate for Santa’s cookies and milk (or ice cream!). Start with an ovenproof plate. Sketch the design in pencil, and bring it to life with ceramic paints or paint pens. Pop it in the oven to seal the design, and ta-da! You’ll have a keepsake the kids will treasure for years to come. Customized plates, mugs and bowls can also make great homemade gifts, too!

2. BAKE THE HOLIDAYS EVEN SWEETER

Some of the best holiday memories are made in the kitchen! So, we’ve partnered with some of the best recipe developers in the Midwest to create a FREE holiday dessert eBook containing festive and frosty recipes to try. From frozen hot chocolate and frothy affogatos to gingerbread sundaes and a ‘Tis the Season Skillet Cookie we absolutely adore, you’re sure to discover something sweet to serve up at holiday parties and gatherings this year.

3. CINEMATIC COUNTDOWN TO CHRISTMAS

Whether you use a paper chain or advent calendar, we all have our own special ways of counting down the days until Christmas. To keep dark December days merry and bright, pick out a classic holiday movie to watch each night. For a movie night that’s truly sweet, cozy up in blankets around the tree and scoop up some of our magically minty Peppermint Stick ice cream.

4. FROM PINTEREST TO PRESENTS
